A new location and a new date – The York Festival Maker’s Market.
The York Festival Maker’s Market provides great exposure for both emerging makers and old hands, and this year we’ve revamped the markets with a new date and a new location.
Over two days on 14th & 15th October, visitors to The York Festival Maker’s Market can enjoy browsing stalls in a relaxed garden setting at the RSL building on Avon Terrace. Stallholders have a choice of indoor or outdoor stalls, plus the added bonus of extended trading to 9pm at the Twilight Markets on Saturday evening, where live music, food and a licensed bar (from 4.30pm) create a great party atmosphere.
The York Festival Maker’s Market aims to provide visitors with a diverse range of creative work. We place a special emphasis on emerging makers by offering the the opportunity to gain exposure, develop their brand and interact directly with customers. So if you design or create original work that is handmade using traditional techniques, new technologies or innovative designs, don’t be shy. We want to hear from you.
If you have already applied to be a stallholder and been approved, you don’t need to reapply. If you haven’t applied, get your skates on, stall spaces are limited. Applications close 20th September.
